DESCRIPTION:All Hands\, \nThe following invitation is for all members and guests of the Seacoast Detachment and Department of NH Marine Corps League (DNHMCL) for a celebration of the Corps’ 249th Birthday: \nWHO:  Seacoast Det #394 and DNHMCL members and guests. \nWHAT:  A celebration of our Corps’ 249th Birthday.  Cocktails\, Appetizers\, dinner\, cake cutting\, birthday rituals and camaraderie. \nWHEN:  Sunday\, 10 Nov 2024 starting at 1700 (Cocktails and Appetizers) followed by dinner (individual ordering from the menu). \nWHERE:  The Old Salt Restaurant\, 490 Lafayette Rd. (Rte 1)\, Hampton\, NH 03842 (https://www.oldsaltnh.com/). \nWHY: To celebrate the Corps’ illustrious history\, renew friendships and share in our collective memories of our days in the Corps. \nCOORDINATING INSTRUCTIONS: \nUNIFORM:  Formal Mess Tux\, Formal Red Blazer\, Casual\, civilian equivalent with MCL Cover (see attached PowerPoint presentation for further uniform information).  For Retirees or Active Duty/Reserve\, Dress Blue Alpha or Bravo uniform is appropriate.     \nCOST:  Attendees are only responsible for their drinks and dinner\, the Detachment will cover all other costs. \nACCOMMODATIONS:  Overnight accommodations may be available at Lamie’s Inn (https://www.oldsaltnh.com/lamies-inn/rates-availability/).  There is a Veteran’s rate. Each reservation must be made by the individuals interested.
