WHY: This is a monthly offering (third Wednesday of the month) to honor our Veterans.
This is one simple and easy way to meet and greet some new and old Brothers and Sisters. I know that I’ll be there; come on down and say hello.

“Outreach beyond our walls
Building Bridges Veterans Initiative
As part of the Building Bridges Veterans initiative (https://buildingbridgesveterans.org/), we provide a comfortable, respectful, and non-judgmental space for veterans to gather for lunch, conversation, support and friendship.
American veterans are a critically under-served and tragically marginalized population that we, at Trinity (https://trinityhampton.org/ministries/), feel called to embrace. The high rate of suicide, the rampant problem of veteran homelessness, drug and alcohol addiction, and the epidemic isolation that veterans face are all areas that we need to address within our community and across the country!
We’ll begin with getting comfortable getting together on the third Wednesday of each month for Lunch at Hobbs House once a month. We’d like to hear what the needs of our hometown vets are and then begin to find ways to address them. If all they want is another place to socialize over lunch, that’s fine too. Let’s take this journey together!
